Your Information – There are activities on this Site that necessitate the collection of Personal Information. Those activities include things like registering for services, entering a contest, sweepstakes or promotion (collectively “Promotion”), making a purchase, or contacting us. When Personal Information is collected, you will know because generally you will need to fill out a form. For most activities, we collect only your name (first and last), e-mail address, postal service mailing address, birth date, gender, and zip code. When you make a purchase of goods or services (collectively “Commodities”), we also collect your street and billing addresses, shipping address(es), your phone number, and credit card information. Depending on what you purchase, we may also need to collect other personal information, such as clothing sizes. This Privacy Policy governs only the Personal Information collected by this Site and does not cover any such information collected in any other manner or for any other purpose, or any other company, unless specifically stated. It is your responsibility to give us current, complete, truthful, and accurate information and to keep the Personal Information that you provide us up to date. Crawfordsville Radio cannot and will not be responsible for any problems or liability that may arise if you do not give us accurate, truthful or complete information or you fail to update the information you give us.
Information Collected via Technology – Crawfordsville Radio collects some information about you using technology, so it may not be readily apparent to you that it is being collected. For instance, when you come to our site your computer’s address (IP address) is collected so that we know where to send information you are requesting. An IP address is often associated with the place from which you enter the Internet like your ISP (Internet Service Provider), your company, etc. This information is not personally identifiable. Crawfordsville Radio site uses information collected through technology to make our sites more useful to you. We generally don’t combine this type of information with Personal Information. However, we will combine this information with Personal Information to identify a visitor in order to enforce compliance with our rules or terms of service or to protect our service, site, guests, or others. Keeping the Personal Information you share with us on the Site secure and ensuring your understanding of how we collect, use, disclose and maintain your Personal Information is important to us. We maintain reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information and while no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure from intrusion, we have used and will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the protection of your Personal Information.
Use of Cookies – Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site sends to your computer while you are viewing the Web site. These pieces of information allow the Web site to retain important information that will make your use of that site more functional. Crawfordsville Radio and other Internet companies use cookies for a variety of purposes. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) settings. Browser adjustments vary, so look at your browser’s “help menu” to determine the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many Crawfordsville features that make your Web experience more efficient, such as some of the features mentioned above – and some of our services will not function properly. We generally use cookies to collect data regarding your visits to the Site. This data is stored in aggregate form and is not used to identify any particular user or individual. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies in a variety of ways, including: (i) Keeping count of your return visits to the Site or our Affiliates’, Advertisers’ or partners’ sites; (ii) accumulating and reporting aggregate, statistical information in connection with the Site; (iii) assessing which features Users like best. This Site may contain advertisements, references and links to other Websites and organizations. Often these third party Advertisers employ cookie technologies to measure advertising effectiveness. You should be aware that different rules may apply to the collection, use or disclosure of your information by third parties in connection with their advertisements, promotions and other websites you encounter on the Internet. The use of such technology by these third parties is within their control and not Crawfordsville Radio’s. Even if Crawfordsville Radio has a relationship with the third party, we do not control those sites or their policies and practices regarding your information. This Privacy Policy does not cover any use of Personal Information that a third party Advertiser or ad server may collect from you. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions directly of them in this regard. Advertisers’ use of tracking technology is subject to the Advertisers’ own privacy policies. Although we may track the numbers of visitors to inform us on how best to manage the Site and enhance the experience for all visitors, Personal Information is not extracted in this process.
Use of Personal Information – Crawfordsville Radio uses Personal Information in a limited number of ways. We use the information to complete transactions. For instance, if you contact us for help we will use the information to contact you. We use information collected to notify you if you’ve won a game or contest. Information we collect is used to send you e-mail updates and newsletters about our sites. We also use the information you provide to send you Crawfordsville Radio e-mail promotions and special offers from any third-party sponsors.
Sharing of Information with Service Companies – One of the most valuable assets of our business is you. Crawfordsville Radio is not in the business of selling information about its clients. However, if there is a value for our clients, we will share your information or send you messages on behalf of another company as described below. We will also share information for security reasons. Sometimes companies may be hired by Crawfordsville Radio to facilitate the delivery of products or services, such as like a shipping company for the delivery of packages. In those instances, we need to share your information with those third-party companies. These companies are basically “standing in the shoes” of Crawfordsville Radio, and they are allowed to use the information only for the purpose intended by the hiring of the company, such as delivering a product or service.
Promotions, Products, or Services – On occasion, Crawfordsville Radio offers Promotions (e.g., sweepstakes or contests), sometimes in conjunction with a sponsor or Advertiser. We will share your information with these sponsors and Advertisers if they need it to send or provide you a Commodity. We may share your information with those sponsors so that they may send you other special promotions which they offer, but only if you give us your permission to do so, and we will share it only with that specific sponsor or Advertiser. In addition, Crawfordsville Radio occasionally sends e-mail promotions out to our clients on behalf of third-party sponsors. In this instance, we don’t share your name with the third party – we do the mailing for them. Again, we only send these promotions to you if you’ve given your permission. Separate registration of information may be required to enter Promotions. Registration for Promotions may require the submission of your first and last name, street address, city, state and zip code, email address, telephone number and date of birth. Additional Personal Information may be requested depending on the specific Promotion, but submission of such information may be optional. The Promotion’s entry page and/or Rules will provide the specific requirements.
Content Partners – Sometimes on our Website we may provide content that is created by a third-party partner Website. In some instances the third-party sites will collect information in order to facilitate the transaction or to make the use of their content more productive and efficient. In these circumstances the information collected is shared between Crawfordsville Radio and our third-party sponsors.
Third-Party Advertisers and Network Advertisers – To help increase privacy protections for our clients, Crawfordsville Radio will allow advertising, if any, on its site from only those companies that have their own privacy policy. Once you have clicked on an advertisement and have left Crawfordsville Radio site, our privacy policy no longer applies. You must read the privacy policy of the Advertiser or subsequently visited site to see how your personal information will be handled on those sites. In addition, many business advertisements may be managed and placed on our site by third-party companies. These “network advertisers” collect non-Personal Information when you click on or scan one of their banner advertisements. The information is collected using technology, so you may not realize it’s being collected. The network advertisers collect this information so that they may show you ads that are more relevant or interesting to you.
Purchase or Sale of Businesses – Online business is still in a very early stage and is changing and evolving rapidly. As Crawfordsville Radio continually looks for ways to improve its business, we may buy or sell a company. If we buy or sell a business, the names collected will likely be transferred as a part of the sale. Information about registrants will be used in the aggregate. However, if we buy a business, we will honor the requests that customers made of that business regarding e-mail communications. In the event that we sell a business, we will do everything in our power to ensure that the e-mail communications requests you made of us are honored.
Security and Safety Alternatives – Crawfordsville Radio will release personal information as required by law, for example, to comply with a court order or subpoena; or site or Promotion rules; or to protect the safety and security of our Users and our site. In particular, generally, we will make your Personal Information available to non-affiliated third parties only in the following limited circumstances: (i) When we are compelled to do so by a governmental agency, court or other entity (e.g., to respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process); (ii) should we believe your actions violate any law, regulation, this Agreement, including, without limitation, this Privacy Policy, or any of our other terms and conditions, Rules, offerings or any other services, features or functions of the Site, or if you threaten the rights, property or safety of the Site, Crawfordsville Radio or its Parent or Affiliates, or any of its or their operational service providers, suppliers, Advertisers, customers or registered Users, or any other party; (iii) if, in our sole discretion, we believe such disclosure to be necessary or appropriate to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, to protect our business and assets, to defend our interests and/or to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; or (iv) in the event of a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, transfer of control, joint venture or other business combination involving Crawfordsville Radio, its Parent or Affiliates.
Your Elections Regarding the Collection, Use and Sharing of Personal Information – It is possible for you to use much of our site without giving us any Personal Information. When you do register with us or give us Personal Information, you will have an opportunity – at the time the information is collected from you – to limit e-mail communications from Crawfordsville Radio and from our Advertisers or third-party partners. In addition, you may opt-out of the registration or enrollment procedures. You also may request at any time that Crawfordsville Radio not send future e-mail to you by unsubscribing from any communication sent by us. Further, as mentioned above, there are ways to limit the information collected through technology – though some of our features will not function if you decide to do this.
Radio Station Crawfordsville Radio’s Security Measures – The importance of security for all Personal Information associated with our clients and Users is of utmost concern to us. Crawfordsville Radio takes technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security steps to protect all Users’ information. When you provide credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect it. There are some things that you can do to help protect the security of your Personal Information as well. Remember to close your browser window when you finish surfing the Web, so that other people using the same computer will not have access to your information.
Phishing: Phishing attacks attempt to steal consumers’ personal identity data and financial account credentials. “Phishers” use “spoofed” e-mail messages to lead consumers to counterfeit websites designed to trick recipients into divulging sensitive personal information such as credit card numbers, account usernames, passwords, and social security numbers. We do not send emails asking you to provide or confirm sensitive personal information or your username or password! If you receive such email communication, please forward it immediately to this Site’s Privacy Administrator at webmasters@1stcorbin.com, and then immediately delete the fraudulent e-mail from your computer.
Removal of Information Pertaining to Children Under 13 Years of Age – Children less than the age of 13 that are unknowingly registered on the Site are in violation of this Agreement. Parents (including legal guardians) of children who have registered on the Site in violation of the Agreement and who wish to terminate their child’s registration must e-mail the administrator. The parent must also provide verifiable identification that they are the parent of the ineligible child. Crawfordsville Radio will send a confirming e-mail to the parent via the e-mail address provided to verify that the parent wishes to terminate his or her child’s registration. The parent must then confirm by sending a reply e-mail to the designated return address. Crawfordsville Radio then will terminate the child’s registration.
Miscellaneous Information. Crawfordsville Radio reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time by updating this posting without advance notice to you. Such revisions shall be effective to you immediately upon posting. Notice of material changes to either document will be posted on the Site’s homepage. We encourage you, however, to check this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Agreement frequently for updates. At our discretion, we also may e-mail you about such changes. Crawfordsville Radio reserves the right to deny access, use and registration privileges to any User, including with limitation a registered User of any services, features or functions of the Site if we believe there is a question about the identity of the person trying to access the User’s account or any services, features or functions. And if the burden or expense of providing access to your Personal Information is disproportionate to the risks to your privacy, or if the legitimate rights of others would be violated, we may decide not to provide access to such information. In such case, we will provide to you an explanation of why access cannot be provided and a contact person for further inquiries.
